AURORA’S WEDDING
The Prince having been led on the long journey by the Lilac Fairy to the Palace where Aurora sleeps among her Courtiers, awakens Aurora with a kiss. The wicked Carabosse’s spell is broken. The Prince and Aurora get to know each other dancing to the beautiful violin solo that Tchaikovsky composed. Consent for them to marry is given and the Duke and Duchess who host the wedding celebrations by presenting a divertissements of dances symbolic of some fairy stories in honour of Aurora and her Prince.

BALLET ETUDES
Ballet Etudes is a one act homage to classical ballet training. It is an exceptionally choreographed ballet class, beginning with barre exercises and ending with spectacular bravura displays of dancing. EYB ‘s professional principals give virtuoso performances backed up by the young dancers and accompanied by the orchestration of the beautiful arrangements of Carl Czerny’s piano studies.
