TCHAIKOVSKY’S BALLET HIGHLIGHTS

In 2022 English Youth ballet will be conduction one of their special and highly successful Gala Performance Courses.

The Course is separated into smaller numbers of children needed at any one time practising social distancing and hygiene. Highlights from EYB’s lovely repertory of classical ballets would be taught. At the end of and as part of the Gala Course we would offer a film made of the production again filmed in smaller sections and edited together.

This tried and tested Course has been proved to be most successful this year in Norwich and Bromley, Kent.

EYB has devised new rehearsal health and safety protocols with regard to COVID’19 and government guidelines to ensure the safety of students, staff and parents. (See Coronavirus statement on home page)

In 2022 English Youth ballet will be conduction one of their special and highly successful Gala Performance Courses. This will be an exciting eight day course of teaching and coaching sessions for young ballet dancers from ages 9-16 years. It will culminate on the last day of a showing of the work achieved by presenting a small performance for parents.

The Course will incorporate Technique Classes; Pas de Deux; Character Dances; Mime; Pilates; Repertoire from EYB’s remarkable ballets and pointe-work (if applicable). There will be opportunities for individual coaching. Course Fee £320

ASSESSMENTS

Miss Lewis conducts special assessments for young dancers to give advice on their technique and artistic abilities with a view to a future career in dance. By Appointment
