Mark Biocca
Mark Biocca is a Scottish-Italian dancer and choreographer. Born in Rome and trained locally he joined The Royal Ballet School of London in 2001. Soon after graduating he began his career working for Northern Ballet before moving to Canada where he danced for the Royal Winnipeg and Alberta Ballet companies. Returning to Europe Mark danced first for the National Ballet of Portugal and then the State Ballet of Hungary in Budapest. It was here that he co-created the project internationalBalLET that aims to broaden the horizons of ballet and it’s audiences. Mark has performed and created many leading classical and contemporary works during his career and is currently a free-lance artist.
