Steven Wheeler

Originally from Rochford Essex, Steven trained at the Bush Davies and Royal Ballet School Upper School. He subsequently joined the Lewis London ballet dancing principal and soloist roles with them for four years. He has been a member of northern ballet theatre for the last seventeen years touring the UK regions as well as China, Greece and Turkey. Achieving status of Senior Artist his roles with Northern Ballet included Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Von Rothbart in Christopher Gable’s Swan Lake, Lord Capulet and Paris in Romeo and Juliet. With English Youth Ballet Steven plays Godfather Drosselmeyer in The Nutcracker and Carabosse in The Sleeping Beauty
